Yeah he is gorgeous - but unlike the 80's or earlier that's not the first thing I think about anymore.
The poetry is so profound. The psychologist Robert Coles wrote a book about his role as a troubador -like the storytellers of old. I hear his songs and know myself, my times, my politics and my country better. For an old activist 20 years older than you (Happy BIrthday by the way) but I suspect much like you - I am grateful for the mirror he holds up for us all. And of course for the rockin' good times at his concerts!

Bruce is an amazing songwriter and musician, but you forgot to mention he is gorgeous...just getting better with age. Did you see his story on Sunday's Sixty Minutes? It will only make you love him more. You can probably find it on you tube. Great blog.
